  • End-to-End Event Management: Led Bharat Tex 2025 execution, managing vendor selection, booth fabrication and leading pre-production and production of audiovisual/print assets (LED wall, brochures). Collaborated with PR agencies to secure international media coverage in top news platforms such as MSN, PTI, ANI, ThePrint, Business Wire India, among others, enhancing brand visibility.

  • Social Media Strategy & Analytics: Developed and executed a data-driven, story-led LinkedIn marketing strategy. Crafted content calendars, scripts, and creatives. Achieved 1.18 M+ impressions (+1,083%), with significant increases in comments (+22.3%) and reposts (+33.3%) as a direct result of my efforts.

  • Digital Campaign Execution: Designed and executed the Annual Impact Report campaign on LinkedIn with specific focus on target audience selection, delivering 1.1M+ sponsored impressions (3% engagement rate, 1.6% CTR, £0.72 CPM, £0.02 cost/engagement) and 49.9% organic engagement (45.8% CTR), surpassing industry specific B2B benchmarks by 6 times and 15 times respectively.

  • SEO Optimization: Conducted in-depth SEO audit and managed agency-driven technical and on-page optimizations. Website traffic increased by 51.06%, with strong traffic from India (40.1%), Europe (28.5%), and the US (11.7%).

  • Outbound Marketing Collaboration: Worked closely with the team to design outbound marketing strategies for global events, awards, and international expos, solidifying brand positioning in competitive markets.

  • Strategic Development: Developed and implemented a comprehensive Communications strategy with the goal of increasing non-local impressions.

  • Content Creation and Newsletter Management: Led a team of 3 members. Initiated and produced the monthly newsletter ‘Mixed Pickles’ wherein my role was in researching, writing, and designing content about the organization’s stance on issues, plans, actions, and impacts. Effectively expanded readership to 1438 with a 38% CTR and led the production of engaging materials and impact stories for different communication channels.

  • Film Production: Conducted research, scripted, and supervised the production of two 15-minute films on Community-Based Rehabilitation of survivors, ensuring ethical and impactful storytelling.

  • Website Development: Coordinated the development of Sanjog's new website with a focus on operational areas, work, and impact. Collaborated with multiple stakeholders in collating and editing content for the web.

  • Campaign Execution: Led the production and post-production of the "My Freedom Stories" campaign as a podcast, with episodes built around personal stories of captivity and freedom. Designed to promote the brand personalities of reflexivity and introspection, the campaign received overwhelming positive responses from stakeholders.

  • Brand Communications Guidelines: Implemented Brand Communication Guidelines to ensure consistent messaging of brand elements across all platforms.

  • Training and Empowerment: Trained survivors' collectives in audiovisual storytelling and social media content creation for their Community-Based Rehabilitation campaign. Also trained organizational members in AI adoption in workflows.

  • Event Management: Planned, supervised, and collaborated with external agencies to create media assets for the AHTU National Conference 2023, enhancing the event's communication and outreach efforts.

  • Course Design and Instruction: Designed and offered bachelor’s and master’s degree courses in Media & Society, Digital Marketing, Documentary Filmmaking, Photojournalism, Audiovisual Production, and Convergent Journalism; focused on industry readiness and aligning students with current industry trends.

  • Strategic Leadership During COVID-19: Utilized available technology and innovated models to conduct practical classes online. Trained students to produce live multi-cam news and documentaries using open-sourced platforms such as OBS Studio and Ninja. Redesigned courses for an online model to ensure continued engagement and learning.

  • Social Media Management: Managed social media for the department, enhancing brand awareness and contributed to growing admissions.

  • Conference Planning: Planned and conducted the 2nd South Asia Communications Conference in 2020 with a team of 3 members. Supervised the students’ body to actively produce media collaterals from the conference.

Nov ‘18 - March ’20

Co-Investigator  |  NuaMaa Project  |  Odisha

  • Worked closely with transgender groups, lactating and pregnant mothers and their family members to conduct three extensive researches: 1) barrier analysis on inhibitions among lactating and pregnant mothers towards taking nutrition supplements, 2) an impact study on mobilizing 54 transgenders to motivate behavior change through performance and theatre in rural societies towards taking nutrition supplements and 3) social acceptance and rise in mental health of rural transgender community through the NuaMaa project in Rayagada and Gunupur, Odisha.

  • Funded by Azim Premji Foundation and implemented by Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences, I conducted data collection through personal interviews and focused group discussions across 102 villages (51 action and control villages respectively) in Rayagada and Gunupur in Odisha, India.

Aug ‘18 - Nov ’21

  • Worked closely with surrendered naxals, survivors of naxal atrocities, the state police and the CRPF, documenting their realities in South Bastar and creating a 105-minute documentary film titled ‘Surrender’.

  • Conducted extensive research through personal interviews, focused group discussions and vox pops with surrendered naxals, survivors of naxal atrocity, state police and CRPF, delving deep into their lived experiences.

  • Provided the police department with key insights by documenting and presenting the stories about life in naxal dominated South Bastar.

  • Educational Documentaries: Scripted and directed 4 educational documentaries for the Indian Council of Medical Research - National Institute of Nutrition (ICMR NIN) as part of the Prime Minister’s ‘POSHAN Abhiyaan’ drive under the Ministry of Women and Child Development.

  • Collaborative Content Development: Worked closely with nutritionists and doctors to simplify complex research and develop scripts on Basics of Nutrition, Infant and Young Child Feeding, Mother's Nutrition and Health, Anemia, Food Fortification, Yoga, and Lifestyle Diseases.
